Dear Applicant:

The Committee on Admission has completed a holistic review of your application to Villanova University. This year, the University has experienced one of the largest applicant pools in the University’s history. On the basis of all the credentials presented on behalf of your application, the Committee regretfully has rendered an unfavorable decision.

The admission process is one in which our Committee carefully examines a variety of factors. Please understand that it is the Committee’s position that this decision is in no way a reflection upon your achievements to this point, but rather is related to the selection of a limited number of candidates from a large and highly competitive group of individuals. Your official letter will arrive shortly via the United States Postal Service.

I wish you much success in your future academic endeavors.
Sincerely,

Michael M. Gaynor
Director of University Admission
