Whatever else: I received my (in)decision letter on Monday. I was a bit surprised--I really thought I would get in, though doubt started to enter my mind shortly before the letter arrived. I was disappointed. I really liked SLC, and it seemed the only place I fit in. Plus, New York was geographically my preferred locale. But after reading some of the other posts in the forum, particularly those concering the trend of inadequate financial aid, I knew that there was no way I could afford to go to SLC even if I managed to get pulled from the wait list (unless perhaps I win the lottery in the near future).

So I've made my peace, and it's time to decide from among my bottom three choices, only one of which I even visited. :-/
