Decisions, decisions....

I was admitted both to Dartmouth and the University of Richmond as a Scholar and I am totally torn. I am not sure what I will study (humanities definitely) so I seek a school with lots of strong departments all over. Dartmouth of course has the Ivy League reputation, but they both have different advantages:

Dartmouth: Ivy league prestige and academics--small class sizes, an engaged student body, the kickass D-Plan, loads of opportunities, a beautiful campus, etc.
But: far from home, cold, isolated, and with a student body that basically seems to drink and do drugs nonstop.

Richmond: The benefits associated with the scholarship (tuition, first pick at housing and class sizes, $3000 for a project, etc. etc.), a beautiful campus, an extremely friendly student body, close to home, lots of individual attention.

I feel like I have these two options that are both so tempting that I can't even fathom giving one of them up. Any advice?

next thing to think abt is the job opportunites then..where would they better?

Well, I'm not really sure, because of course Richmond is in the city, so that's a big advantage in find internships and jobs. But on the other hand, Dartmouth's D-Plan means that I'd spend at least one odd quarter (probably sophomore or junior winter) away from campus (instead of sophomore summer), which means I'd either be at home (near DC, where job opportunities are plentiful) or on a quarter abroad or something. But of course, during the actual school year I'd be living in Hanover, which probably has almost no job opportunities.

ha.. well since apparently the major things abt teh colleges are going great for u.. look at tiny things that make a diff..
dorms for instance.. bad dorms can make studying hard..
