Decisions due March 24, 5:01 PM Pacific

Thank you parent57 for the kind response. I’ll be sure to keep my head up during this struggle. I’m already starting to feel better.

Well said, parent57. S denied at CMC, and I told him the same thing. Today, he got an acceptance from another great school.

Which leads to my next rant: the rankings that make so much money for US News are destructive. Find a great college fit and you’ll go far.

i was worried about my essay- wrote it about louis the fifteenth(right after studying for my euro midterm, if you couldn’t tell) and realized after sending it in that I used Locke’s social contract and said that it was rousseau’s! but i got in, and I’m so stoked. coming off of WLs from Vassar AND Haverford, this was some well-needed confirmation and I think it speaks to the idea that FIT is the most important factor.

Waitlist at both CMC and Pitzer (among others)
Accepted at Pomona

Well everything is better now. I got accepted into Wesleyan and Kenyon, so my tantrum was uncalled for. Peace out fellas.
