decisions from NCSA & Webster

Has anyone heard when decision letters will go out from NCSA & Webster? I've read a lot about many other schools, but not these two. Seems like a long wait since unified in Chicago. Love to know if anyone has heard anything.
Thanks

mandemb,

Webster won't send out invites until all auditions are completed. I believe the last ones are to take place on campus tomorrow. If I remember right students were notified around the 1st week of April. It is a long wait, I agree....especially when everyone around you seem to be buttoning definite plans for the fall.

Best wishes to you!!

Thanks 5pants
It is a long wait. Although it helps to hear that this is normal and that they are not even done auditioning.
Wonder how they can even remember anyone they saw way back at the beginning of Feb.

Thank you cards are a good thing to send to the people you auditioned with. Make sure they are hand written and you might include a small pic too. It is a nice thing to do and also shows your interest. Just a suggestion.

This is not official, but my son who is in the High School program will hear the end of next week, so chances are you will , too.

mandemb,

I hear 'ya....and feel for the wait. Please keep me posted...would love to hear your outcome.

Last year, NCSA was the last school my daughter heard from--maybe the first week in April. They did send letters about 10 days after the audition to everyone letting you know that either you were cut or that they were still considering you.

We did not get a letter after the audition. Maybe they have done away with that. I know they saw a lot of kids. They were way over booked in Chicago and very behind schedule.

to confirm earlier posts...
Webster had their last batch of auditions this morning. 15 kids auditioned this morning for the musical theatre program. These 15 students were told that all of them could get in or none at all. The judges also said that they had seen about 400 auditions this season and that they plan on accepting 27 for mt this year (which i thought was how much they took for mt and acting combined but maybe i am wrong).

I believe it is combined. 5Pants correct me if I am wrong.

iacboi,

I am guessing, but 27 sounds as though it would not be just MT, but a combined number of both Regionals and MT. I will try to confirm the breakdown.

May I ask? It's obvious you were there today....did you personally audition? or did you have a s/d audition? Feel free to email me if you wish.

Break a leg!! Keep me posted! :)
