<p>I don’t really have an answer to the whole “was I rejected?” question. I was waitlisted, and I live in Charlotte, NC. One of my friends got his admit packet and he lives down the road. Two other friends didn’t receive anything at all, and they also live right down the road. One of the people who didn’t get hers is almost 99.99% sure she got rejected. She already got rejected from UVa, and needless to say she is not hopeful about this admission decision considering that she thought I was one of the few who had a good chance of getting in, and well, we saw how that turned out. :/</p>

That really stinks–just remain hopeful though that some good will come out of it.</p>

<p>I applied to Engineering and got very favorable news :). I have a friend who applied to A&S who was also accepted. We are both in the Midwest and on opposite ends of the alphabet.</p>
