According to the blog post on the Vandy blog you can call Admissions today and they’ll tell you your decision over the phone.

If you can get through!

800-288-0432

I’m a Peabody acceptee and I received my package on like, Monday. Granted, though, I do live in the Midwest.

Just got my envelope this afternoon in Louisiana! It was small, slightly
thick and sent via regular mail. I am waitlisted! I was expecting a rejection
b/c like 20 kids applied from my school, 12 of them National Merit Finalists…

Good luck to everybody!

Waitlisted in Memphis.

Nothing in NJ, I called them and… my admissions counselor took the afternoon off. I nearly shat brix oh well, first thing tomorrow i’ll be on the phone

Rejected…but it is ok! I think I like Middlebury better!

For those of you who live in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah, and Wyoming, Joy Beth Bodie, the admin rep for those states is in her office as of 2:15 MST. I only had to wait about 2 mins to get to talk to her!

Good luck to the rest of you guys!

BF was rejected over the phone this morning. I’m sad; he’ll be four and a half hours away next year. NOT looking forward to long distance… anyway, here are some stats:

White, male, Michigan
3.2 GPA
30 ACT
2190 SAT
ECs included a pile of music activities, chess club, and fencing club (prez).
Applied to Blair and aced his audition, so I’m really surprised. GPA isn’t usually that much of a factor for Blair-ites. I’m thinking it was his racial status combined with nothing truly outstanding. White boy from the Midwest with a less-than-stellar GPA and test scores that a bunch of other people got, too… not a lot of variety in his ECs, no leadership positions worth mentioning.

sigh Oh, well.

rejected over the phone

I finally got my letter today (MI)…waitlisted. Oh well, at least it’s not a rejection.

Also, I’m A&S

just called and found i was waitlisted s florida

called but my admissions counselor but was unavailable. I left a message but I don’t think he’ll call me back.

Waitlisted in Michigan.

COE.

I think that I can say that I was waitlisted/rejected since I haven’t heard from them. AGH

He’s not going to call back today…

Accepted

35 ACT
4.0 UW GPA, 4.3 W GPA
College of Arts and Sciences
TN

My son never got anything from Vanderbilt, we figured he was rejected, but he called today and the his admissions rep said: “Gee, I’m sorry you would have really liked this letter.” Accepted, they are resending!

Wow…so happy for your son anothercrazymom…hope he comes to an Accepted student day…my son is a greeter some of them—

They just posted a video online today of them doing this ceremony where they load all the letters into the post office truck. In other words, your letters are on their way

Faline2, we couldn’t do an accepted student day, but we are going on Monday 4/19. I hope S arranged some things with admissions! He is at boarding school so it can be toughto visit.

Great! I believe there is a list of classes he can attend without PMing a professor in the admissions office or online. Highly recommend he attend a class. My son is actually in a class with a Prof he observed on admitted students day last year.

So glad he is coming to check Vandy out. PM if I can be of any assistance. Many vandy parents here would make suggestions I am sure about his brief time in Nashville and it would not be hard to arrange a coffee with him if that would be a plus I bet.
