Decisions have been mailed!

One would assume so, as usually a rejected letter is just a business sized envelope, and all the information that they put into an acceptance package would not fit.

I thought I read somewhere that the admitted students get theirs sent 2nd day mail which would mean all applicants getting in, should hear at the same time… on Monday. I could be wrong though.

yeah nj_mom, i read that somewhere too

The pictures showed USPS priority mail (2-3 days) envelope for the acceptances, so most people should get it on Monday (with the exception of the west coast which might be Tuesday). I would imagine that both rejections and wait list envelopes are regular mail, so those will show up between Monday and midweek depending on where you live.

There is a definite difference between the admitted (fat) and non-admitted (thin) envelopes.

Plus the last pic on their blog ([Letter Checking Nearly Complete: Mailing Currently on Schedule The Vandy Admissions Blog](Letter Checking Nearly Complete: Mailing Currently on Schedule | The Vandy Admissions Blog | Vanderbilt University)) showed a mailing label with “Congratulations” on it. It should be pretty clear if you are “in” or “not” on the outside, regardless of size or shape…

omg decisions are here!!! I’m so freakin out…
I’m an international student…!!!When can I find out mine???
But my SAT scores and gpas are baaddddd compared from all of you guys…
just got rejected from CMU and Rice just hurts me ever…
I’m so worried…!

I’m an international applicant…receives decision tomorrow! good luck!

Oh my gosh! I’m so nervous… Do you think it’ll get to Southern California by tomorrow???

I really wish I could just get the rejection over with instead of waiting this whole time to get it in the mail. I’ve already been rejected from Colgate and Vassar, there’s no way I’m getting into Vanderbilt. Don’t get me wrong, it would be nice, but I’ve always known that I don’t meet the standards.

Good luck to all of you! I hope to hear pleasant responses tomorrow and the next day. :)

@Jenqua: I think the mail will definitely reach california by tomorrow!
@HoneyRose: Keeps your hope up! You never know what will happen :)

Vanderbilt is one of my top choices…Would be a great pleasure to be accepted to such a prestigious college.

I’m so nervous! I got into WashU and UC Berkeley, but I was rejected from UCLA and Northwestern.
I live in California, and I hope I get the decision tomorrow. I’m going out of town for spring break, so I won’t know until Thursday…

Most people will be getting decision letters on Tuesday and Wednesday… I can’t wait!

I’m a bit nervous. Maine is pretty far away, but I’m hoping I get my letter tomorrow :)

hopefully, i get the decision tomorrow…

its good though that they put the congratulations label outside the envelope if you get accepted. if my envelope doesnt have one, i wont even open up the denial letter.

I live in Maryland. Not sure if I should be concerned if I don’t receive the letter by tomorrow or not. I’ll probably give it till Tuesday. :)

I’m in south-central IL and hoping to get that big envelope today…good luck everyone.

Get my e-mail tomorrow about decisions :D

does anybody know what time exactly will the decision come out?I am an international student

Me too… live in Taiwan here
:S I’ve waited all day today (it’s 5:46pm here) for Vanderbilt, but didn’t get any mail.
sighsssssssssss I thought Vanderbilt would email international applicants on Monday? Or is it too early over there now for them to email?

(ahhhh! freaking out haha)
