A poster at this site, www.*******.com, said decisions were mailed on the 23rd. Anyone heard? If you have could you list your stats and where you live?

Hmm. I wonder when they'll put them on pioneerweb?

I didn't know they posted online. How do you access it?

http://pioneerweb.grinnell.edu (Under Services > Check admissions decision)

They sent a username/password by email.

I don't know if they put the decisions online as soon as they mail them tho...

it shows : not available right now !!

wonder when they upload the decisions !!

Came in the mail today, accepted with $$$. Postmarked Mar 23, we're in Chicago suburbs.

Mail has arrived on Saturday at home in Chicago. No letter from Grinnell.

got the big one today, but less merit aid (10k) than will make enough of a dent. grinnell seems to be out.

how much aid did the rest of you get? i'm guessing the big scholarships came with the early writes...

Sierra, before you give up on them, you might try calling to ask them if they would match your other offers (if Grinnell is preferred above others). Can't hurt.

Rejected...:(.

GPA: 3.77 from noncompetitive public school
Rank: 45/450 school doesn't weight grades for honors classes...this is probably what killed me
ACT: 29
ECs: Speech, newspaper, choir, theater, NHS
Area: suburban MN

Damn. I really liked Grinnell, too.

Good luck to you all, and congrats to everyone accepted!

Re not receiving a packet today in the mail, someone in our family noted that the Carleton acceptance received on Wednesday took a full week in the mail (we have lousy mail service on the south side of Chicago). In our neighborhood, thin letters would take 2 days on average to be sorted and delivered from the midwest, while packages usually take 5-7 days.

So that is a good sign that we haven't heard! Right? :)

[No wishful thinking in our household, is there?]

I got waitlisted.

GPA: 3.64, class rank was BARELY in the top 30%, my ACT was 32, and umm basically I suck? Haha.

I got waitlisted at Colby, Carleton, and Middlebury as well. Man... colleges loooooove waitlisting my sorry self.

what if you're an intl student?

sierra: definitely contact the fin aid office at grinnell. It's known for being generous.

My friend (int'l) just recieved his by DHL. Bangkok, Thailand here! He recieved the half-tuition scholarship thingy. Where's mine? Haha... Congrats to allthat got in!

Accepted as well, will get $ 13,530 a year that is IF I attend, which very much in doubt.
Not very pleased with the package, just too little, was expecting sth in the $25K range. But who cares?
Congrats to evryone else who got accepted, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time in Grinnell, me - I'll be heading to certain college in Lewiston, Maine.

DECISION... Accepted

VISITED... Yes
INTERVIEWED... Yes
WEIGHTED GPA... 4.09
CLASS RANK...top 4%
SAT1/ACT...1310

they will put it up on pioneerweb.grinnell.edu on 1st April
