lol. Does it really take that long? Sometimes stuff can get here from America in 2 days other times it takes a week or so. I dunno about India though.

well, it doesnt take a year. but it does take 2 weeks sometimes. and sometimes stuff gets lost in our mail too. lets hope that doesnt happen. :)

I just received my letter today (like 5 minutes ago!), and I only live about 40 minutes from Wake. Anyway, I'M IN!!!! SO HAPPY! :)

isitjuneyet:

What did the evelope look like?

it was big and it said "welcome to wake forest" on it :)

That's a clue. Thanks. My mailman likes to know. :-)

Got the mail in CT ... nothing from Wake ... argh!

isitjuneyet... what are ur stats? SATs, gpa and stuff? I'd like to compare to see what kind of chance I have

hey a friend of mine got her letter from wake yesterday, she was waitlisted, so maybe its possible that wake sends out waitlisted/rejected letters first? i have yet to receive anything, nothing in yesterdays or todays mail

im in ohio btw

I sure hope that's the case zoom.

nothing in in the mail today.............Alexandria, Virginia

Looks like some people got their acceptance packages today & some got waitlisted today. I think it sometimes just takes a little longer for larger envelopes.

Good luck with the optimism though :)

nothing in the mail today...South Carolina.

D received her acceptance letter from Wake today. We live 1 1/2 hours away from Wake.

lassienut- what type of envelope did it come in?

No mail today, NY, I hope Rejections/waitlists were sent out first, please! What was the date that Wake "started mailing" any sort of mail???

Also for you guys that were accepted and applied for merit scholarships, D had sent an email to the assistant merit director since she was a Reynolds finalist asking when she would hear. She did not get the full ride, so she has to wait like everyone else. Assistant director told her they were still hammering out merit money and would be done by the end of the week, so it's going to be a little longer. He did say the merit funds were more limited this year :-( , but it was a more reasonable year for merit with a need-based component.

Big white envelope (kinda thin) with Welcome to Wake Forest in the bottom left corner.

someone asked about my stats...i'll post them if you reallllly want to know, but i'm pretty sure my acceptance had a lot to do with the fact that WFU employed my mother for 15+ years .. she was the "Housing Lady" :)

Thanks laissienut! Congrats to your D!
