Both my S my D heard directly from an admissions officer that decisions are coming out today at 5:34 pm EST. </p>

All of my friends who got in ED received notification at 4PM EST or 4:30PM EST, but I have a feeling the difference in time is just when they logged on to the WUSTL pathway.</p>
<p>From what I’ve gathered from other friends who either currently go to WashU or were admitted this year ED, the admissions office posts regular decision results before their spring break starts. I’m pretty sure that their spring break begins this weekend, so we will definitely find out today or tomorrow (they’re not going to want to deal with all of that work the day before spring break). In addition, given that there is always the risk of server problems when decisions are released, I think it would make more sense for the office to announce today as they will then be able to deal with potential server hiccups tomorrow without having an overly-stressful Friday.</p>
<p>here’s another great point: Given that WashU does not have an officially published announcement date (just the basic “before April 1st” thing), I don’t think someone in the admissions office is going to be able to say when it is coming out; they are most likely not allowed to disseminate such information. WashU has set a precedent in the past of announcing application decisions before its spring break, and seeing as their spring break is next week, I would assume that the decisions will be posted today or tomorrow… PREFERABLY TODAY!!</p>

<p>The scholarship decisions were posted on WUSTL Pathway, so I’m guessing the same would be for admission decisions.</p>

<p>I got in ED and it wasn’t until late in the evening that I got my decision. I don’t know the exact time of release because I had been out earlier, but I think it was fairly late.</p>
