Decisions on March 9?

lol Nice try.

We get it, you got us to check.

I didn’t even bother. WUSTL would most likely not use the same word in two different forms (“exceptional”) twice in the same sentence.

34 ACT, 2310 (800 CR, 710 M, 800 W, 11 essay) SAT
GPA: 4.0 UW (no AP/IB/Honors courses offered)
Rank: 1/19
Good? essays, decent EC’s (a ton of clubs due to tiny school, district and state leadership positions in a CSO)
White female

Eeeep! I’m nervous… Good luck, guys! :)

19 students, that really is small. did you like it or want to be in a bigger school?

1) this thread is pathetic and ridiculous. Just go to school and wait like all the rest of us.

2) It’s funny you should base your retro-formulated criticism of my fake admit letter upon the redundant use of ‘exceptional’ word-forms. That entire block of text was copied (with some critical substitutions and omissions) from my Duke likely letter.

Didn’t fool me.

Official writings from Wash U personnel rarely contain the acronym WUSTL.

Pathetic that you feel the need to (for the lack of a better word) ■■■■■ the people anxiously awaiting their decisions.

I didn’t even realize WUSTL’s decisions were coming out soon, so I didn’t know this thread existed until a few minutes ago, but these people clearly care about their decisions and are just anticipating their arrivals. Not sure why you have to go to such a length to mock them for actually caring about their lives.

And shame on Duke, I know they can think of a good synonym to “exceptional.” Tsk, tsk, tsk.

metaphy6 u got me nervous man - -

P.S. To those viewing this thread right now, decisions won’t be up tonight. I’m pretty sure the admissions officers don’t spend their Thursday nights in the office when they could be at home with their families. It’s not like the decision date has passed and they are behind or anything.

I don’t know about anyone else but i still have nothing posted on my wustl pathway page

We should treat this problem the same way that other internet message boards do.

Anybody who ■■■■■■ gets banned.

What the…most of everyone who has posted thus far has a 3.9+ GPA/ 2300+ SAT, wow. Classic CC at it’s best.

Anyway, unlike the rest of you, I’m not as well academically qualified:

GPA: 4.504 (school doesn’t calculate UW…)
Class Rank: at the end of junior year, (20/538)
Heavy Upward trend, most rigorous curriculum in grade, 4.0 UW Senior year (3 APs, 2 College Courses)

AP: 4,4,5,5,5,5,3(lol)

Superscore: 34.25 (36M, 36S, 33E, 32R, 12E)

EC:

The usual… SHS, NSHSS, NHS, FLHS, Vassar Book Award

Essays:
Common App: Wrote about table tennis but the whole thing is pretty much about philosophy

Recs:
AP Chem (know for 4 years)- Extremely Strong
Guidance Counselor (know for 4 years)- Extremely Strong
AP Calc BC (know for 6 years)- Good, a bit too general but it said some good stuff

I read all of my recs

Hooks: None, unless submitting 3 research abstracts counts as a hook or skipping a grade

Well I’m not sure we can say it’s impossible for decisions to be posted late at night. After all, schools like Northwestern have posted decisions as late as 11:00 pm before and some other schools post decisions at midnight.

Yeah but don’t they usually announce that decisions will be up that day beforehand? WUSTL would be doing it spontaneously.

Now that WashU has pretty much made all decisions, I think they should send an email out to all applicants to announce a specific date and time that decisions will be out, to make it easier on everyone.

I’m checking tomorrow, but if it isn’t up then, I’m not worrying about this until Tuesday…

If they were to be up tom, we still do not know what time… I’ve LITERALLY been checking this thread every free moment I get…I am soo nervous. At this point, I’m not even checking the pathway anymore (simply refreshing the thread every 10 minutes or so) so if someone could do me the favor and post when decisions are up, it would be awesome.

btw- i (and am sure the majority of us) don’t appreciate the “fake decision updates” theyre inconsiderate and unnecessary.
im going to sleep - checking again at around 640 am!

Regardless of whether or not I get in, I can’t concentrate on my homework anymore! This is insane!

Woke up at 4:00 AM EST to work on homework I didn’t do last night. It’s 4:30 and I still haven’t started because I’ve been reading this thread.

I wish I didn’t know about this so I wouldn’t be worrying…
