What part of CT?

So, any estimates how many miles could be reasonably covered in a day? Connecticut is roughly 650-700 miles away from the Wake campus, whereas I am about 400 away. Should I count on it arriving on Tuesday?

I applied to Bucknell and their letter was postmarked Friday the 16th and I received it on Monday the 19th... unfortunately I got WL'ed. I live about ~375 miles away from Bucknell in MA so I if I were you I would expect your letter, at the latest, on Tuesday... Good Luck

"It took a week for a letter from North Carolina to get to me in Connecticut"
Were there any snow storms or anything that could have delayed the letter, because I'm not expecting it to take that long, at least hopefully not.

crap. i got nothing today. i was sure it would've gotten here in charleston, sc by today. all i got was my UNC housing package.

My daughter just got her Wake acceptance - we are near Boston!

Oh wow, Boston? That makes me optimistic that my letter could come today as well.

weird... maybe they all werent mailed out friday then. i should've gotten mine.

I got mine today in Versailles, KY

i got in today! i'm from southern ct.

I just received my acceptance in Birmingham, Alabama.

Well..one possibility is that they sent out all the ACCEPTANCES Friday...I mean I haven't seen anyone post that they DIDN'T get in who got their recently. One more reason why I am scared to go to the post office.

people have said they got waitlisted. i am officially worried. i got nothing today. do colleges send out just the acceptances and then rejections later? i would assume they sent out all the decisions at once.

Just got ACCEPTANCE in Tampa, FL!!! I am sooooo excited!!!

its beginning to look that way, soccer_guy. either that, or the people who got rejected just didnt rush to post the bad news. i would be surprised to get flat out rejected after getting into UNC-CH and vandy. Only one person has said they got waitlisted. I certainly hope the former isn't the case and they all got sent out at once. otherwise, i expect bad news to come soon enough.

SAT score: 1440/1600
GPA: Abysmal 3.4 (3.7 weighted) with a D in precalc 4th quarter junior year
ECs: Really good (which is why my GPA sucks)

Wake Forest here I come

My son got his acceptance letter today - East Tennessee. He is pumped.

I got my acceptance in Boston, how many of your guys are going to go? I'm leaning towards Wake and I heard back from all my schools. Also, do you think we should start an official decision thread where we post stats, I would do it but I'm not that computer savy, I'm sure it would be helpful for juniors.

ahduke, if you got into UNC oos and vandy, I'm sure you got into Wake. Look on the bright side...maybe they send out all the honors college acceptances late or something. Or maybe...you just have slow mail. lol. I'm honestly sure it has nothing to do with your acceptance. For example, I usually get stuff from UConn pretty quickly (I'm over 300 miles away), but I got a letter from them yesterday dated for March 3rd. (Update: I still have not gone to the post office..too nervous..haha)

I got waitlisted :(
