In case some students don’t know, University of Arts has posted decisions for some students that auditioned at LA Unifieds that can be accessed by going to web site, clicking on check application status and entering email address and decision will be emailed to the email address on file.

What does accept-norequirment mean? I believe this just means that they have received her application and all supporting documents, but I don’t think it refers to being accepted into the MT program.

Perhaps they have changed the website since this was posted last year, but I do not see a “Check Application Status” link anywhere. Can someone point me to it?

I believe you have to click something after you log in - it says undergraduate application or something? if you click around, you’ll find it =)

Perhaps I’m just being dense but I have clicked everywhere, and I absolutely cannot find any sort of link to checking status. Has anyone who auditioned this year found it?

click Apply Now and log in to your account. click application for admission. on the left hand side in the black box there should be a link that says Check Your Application. i’m not sure if that will be updated with info on your decision or not…but i don’t see anything else that says check application status.

Thanks! Yes, I had found that but it just tells you whether your application has been SUBMITTED. Noplace for any notation about a decision even having been made. Something tells me that when they changed the website last fall, the ability to check your status went away. If anyone knows differently let us know!

I remember this website being just awful last year.

I spoke to someone in the admissions office who told me that there is no posting online of the decisions. They will mail out the decisions in a few weeks.

Thanks, 4inoregon! That puts that whole question neatly to rest! And sassystage, yes, of all the schools D applied to, UArts has by far the least user-friendly website. But I won’t hold that against them! They’re artists after all, and sometimes their brains just don’t work like the rest of ours. More about the concept and the look and less about the functionality!

My sons auditioned at Chicago on 2/7. They received their acceptance packets in today’s US Mail.
