ACCEPTED! MY TOP CHOICE.... I <3 Villanova!!!!!!!!!

Waitlisted, but not too upset. Not first choice at all. Have been selected by others, just not to my first choice yet. I know how much it hurts not to be where one wants to be. My heart broke when I was deferred by my first choice. I hope the best to all of us. Though I am excited to start my new chapter in life...I never expected the college process to be as it is... Kinda makes the secure life of high school seem rather nice...

Accepted- Arts+sciences-Biochem
I got 3000/year in scholarship, but I'm still waiting on a few more to see where I end up.

How did you see the scholarship? I didn't apply for financial aid, but if I got a scholarship, would it show up? Probably not, since there's no link or anything for financial aid.

My scholarship info was in with the financial aid for 2008-2009... I guess you're going to have to wait for the paperwork...

I was waitlisted as well. Congratulations to everyone who was accepted!!

accepted with $30175 in aid. 22175 in grant, 5000 in scholarship and 3000 in student employment. I am an international.

I'm accepted too :) But where did you all find the financial aid information

I was accepted to the business school. YAY!!!!

Yeah to international students accepted where did you find your financial aid information ? I went to eligibility, student requirements, and found

International Bank Certification Received - To Be Reviewed
International Certification of Finances Received - To Be Reviewed
International Miscellaneous Received - To Be Reviewed
International Student Financial Aid Application Received - To Be Reviewed

That's just what I found too. I guess we still don't have a financial aid decision.

Man I REALLY REALLY hope I get aid. Villanova is one of my top choice schools, but I do need a lot of aid to assist. I think I'll email Villanova and ask them about their financial aid decision.

Good luck all, I hope you get good aid.

Share the information when you get it :)

accepted, i'm thrilled! i didn't know the decisions were online until today.

As for finding out about your FA: log in to your status account via novavis. go to "student and financial aid" link, then to the "financial aid" link, "my award information" and click on "award information by year" and select the year 2008-2009. On pressing submit you will be able to view your FA award.

Award Package By Aid Year 2008-2009 Aid Year

Caution No award information is available for you at this time, please contact your financial aid office if you have questions.

So I guess I should either call or email Villanova ?

Danhernan, I didn't apply for aid but that comes up for me too. I was looking for maybe a scholarship? Maybe wait for the snail mail?

does villanova generally fulfill 100% of asked financial aid if accepted??

I would imagine Villanova is closed today, so it would be useless to call. Perhaps I could email them. Snail mail is especially slow here, so that wouldn't be my first choice. I've received mails that took anywhere from 15 days to 3 months!

But thanks for your help justbumming.

din-na you can find more information about financial aid here College Search - Villanova University - Cost & Financial Aid
I do wonder if an international student applied with financial aid and was accepted they receive financial aid. I applied to the U of Richmond and was accepted but received absolutely no financial aid :S .
