i am an international.. can a relative in the US call and ask villanova about my aid?? or do they give such information to me only..

Admissions office is closed today, I already tried calling. But I emailed them yesterday and they emailed me back today. (Not about financial aid, but about resetting my account)

Here's my aid package.

Subsidized Stafford Loan: $3,500
Work-Study: $2,500
Perkins Loan: $1,000
Villanova Scholarship: $2,000
Villanova Grant: $20,000
VU Financing Option: $21,175

21 is a lot to pay when my EFC was only 13. But I guess I should be happy I got a scholarship - $8000 over four years is much more than I was expecting. I really wasn't expecting merit money at all.

About the scholarship thing - mine was right there in my aid package. So if you can view your aid package and it doesn't say anything about a scholarship, I would guess that means you didn't get one.

Accepted Engineering
SAT M/CR/WR 730/620/630
GPA: 89/100 UW
All honors + AP classes
Decent ECS
Rank 10/150

How can I find my Novasis ID and Password? I forgot both so I can't access my account.

Anyone have the same problem?

accepted...but dont know about FA yet!!! will they post the aid package or post it on Novasis

There are two other threads on here about FA awarded on Novasis. Check them out.

Accepted Business!!!! Woohooo!!!

waitlisted =/

accepted- School of Engineering- Mech Engineering

Accepted!! :)

Waitlisted to business school. Not too upset because the same day I heard from Nova, I got 18k merit aid to Syracuse's b-school. Don't know if I'm going to bother with the waitlist. Hard to justify paying full price for Nova even if I were accepted.

YA!! I found out today that I got in. I am super excited but still waiting to hear from GTown and ND. Where does Villanova rank on everyones list? It is probably third on mine, but I loved the campus when I visited. Can't wait to hear from my potential classmates!

waitlisted.

4.45 weighted
National Merit commended

Founder of Young Republicans

I've been invited to apply for their Honors Program

Congrats and GoodLuck to all

Waitlisted. Oh well, I had no interest in you anyway, Villanova.

Clipse14: Congrats on the Syracuse $$! That is a great school, albeit REALLY cold!! Good luck!

My s was waitlisted! Cannot believe it- but was offered a great scholarship at Northeastern and UDel so has some great choices...
Waiting to hear from Penn, Cornell, Hopkins-
The small letter came in the mail on Friday.

Mom43, I'm very sorry to hear that! I just figured I would point out, though, that all the letters were small. Very tricky. I got mine in the mail yesterday (I already knew I was accepted online) and it was just in a regular, thin envelope.

Your son will definitely be better off somewhere with a scholarship! Villanova is just too expensive with too little aid. UD is a great school, and he must be a great student to have gotten a decent scholarship because they are generally stingey (I don't know how to spell that word! haha) with out of state money.
