Decisions soon?

Based on previous years' threads, I was thinking that the UPS decisions would be coming out soon... maybe even this week. But, I noticed that the application status page date has changed from "You should receive notification of the admission decision in the mail and on this page by March 21, 2009" to "March 31, 2009" -- not a good sign!

Anyone have any insight into when the decisions might be coming?

My web status changed from "should hear something by March 31" to "should hear something by March 17"
Go figure.
Could be a rejection.

Just checked...March 17th expected notification date posted also.

Thanks -- just checked and mine changed, too. Looks like it's Tuesday!

Good Tuesday morning, I've been accepted! : )

Me too!
With the Trustee scholarship!

Yipee -- DS is accepted!

Congratulations to all accepted!

S also accepted. Yipee!

Congrats to all

One more acceptance.
:)

Congratulations, benel!

The big envelope arrived in the mail -- that was quick!

The web site says D is accepted! And with a trustee scholarship!

I got in as well with the president's scholarship!

Here's an update, since I found out before the mail came:

Won a President's Scholarship, was also offered entrance into the music school, : )

Woohoo, got accepted, with Trustee's scholarship.
(I'm on an exchange atm, and it cost them like $5 to ship the giant enevelope to me)

are any of you planning on going for sure?

Emily, my daughter is auditioning (vocal) at the School of Music this Saturday! Any pointers or words of advice??

My son is also auditioning on Saturday. Maybe we’ll see you there. Look for the big kid with a tuba strapped to his back.

Swiwata, I will keep my eye out for you, your son, and his tuba! So exciting, isn’t it?! My daughter did her first audition last Saturday at UofO, and it was so scary – hopefully Puget Sound will be less stressful since it’s not her first time. Sure wish we had an admit decision beforehand…

I’m with you in wishing for the admit ahead of the audition. My son has done Lewis & Clark and Willamette auditions, this will be the last one. Luckily he doesn’t get stressed out, so I can just worry for both of us.

I auditioned today too! I was quite impressed with the setup actually. Pretty low-key, and very well organized! UPS was originally my 2nd choice (since I live about 20 minutes away), but the more I visit, the more I fall in love with it!
