<p>I heard a rumor that we might be getting our decisions this thursday. I also think last year the applicants heard back this upcoming thursday last year. Has anybody else heard this?</p>

<p>Assuming that Northeastern follows the same schedule as last year, it will be this Thursday. That is an assumption remember. Last year people posted that the application status website was unavailable the morning of the day that decisions were released. They were loading the decisions into the system.</p>
<p>do you think transfer students are included in these prospective decisions date or just freshman applicants? Anyone know from last year?</p>
<p>I think transfer decisions are separate. All the posters on 3/11/2010 on CC were freshmen applicants. </p>
<p>People started posting decisions around 2 PM or so that day.</p>

<p>I’m incredibly nervous too! NEU is my top choice and I honestly can’t imagine myself going anywhere else

<p>Yes, deferred applicants find out the same time as regular decision applicants.</p>
<p>If it is like the early action decision releases, they will also be sending it hourly by state, for example when I got mine it was 2 am here and I’m an international student, I was probably the last one to get my decision, I think it was 9pm or 10pm EST, not sure though.

<p>They will be staggering the release of decisions/emails starting around 2 or 3 PM EST. Otherwise the system would be overloaded and it would take people an hour just to log in.</p>
