<p>Well, it has been confirmed on the UGA admissions blog that Friday is the day they release decisions online and begin mailing the formal admission letters.</p>
<p>Been waiting 2-3 months. Already been admitted to plan B.</p>
<p>I am kind of expecting a rejection due to a poor GPA due to a poor Junior year(all other years were good, especially my 1st SEM senior year), but I've seen miracles with the GPA I have(like last year), So I'm hopefully and praying.</p>
<p>Anyways, post your final decision here with some stats if you like.</p>

<p>I don’t want to sound mean and take anything away from those who were accepted, i mean im really happy for u but other than gpa they can’t even touch me when it comes to everything else. Does uga really place that much emphasis on gpa and so little on sat, ec’s, and difficulty of courseload. Seriously, uga admissions is a joke…im not suprised if they really just throw darts at names on the wall.</p>
<p>honestly, i dont know what they did but are u telling me i couldn’t even get waitlisted at uga when i got waitlisted at a far superior university like ga tech? i mean ga tech makes uga look like ga perimeter. i dont know if the person who reviewed my application was drunk, high, in a bad mood, or all three but i definitely plan on repealing this decision. wait, is that possible?</p>
<p>I mean…were your essays, EC’s, teach recommendation good?</p>
<p>UGA has gotten extremely competitive this year with ppl with 3.8s and 27 acts/1200 sats getting rejected.</p>
<p>Best thing to do is live with the decision and not worry about why you were rejected.</p>
<p>I’ll be officially checking my decision at 6 although I expect a rejection, best a waitlist. It won’t hurt me much. GSU was my second choice. If it’s a bad school, with a hgih enough GPA, ill transfer to UGA or another good school.</p>
