<p>"A Message about your GW Application</p>
<p>Dear Iskander,
Thank you for applying to The George Washington University and for giving us the opportunity to know more about you.

Please note that decisions regarding financial assistance will not be posted on the Activity Center, but will follow separately from the Office of Student Financial Assistance.
You should have received an email including your GWID and instructions for logging on to the Activity Center. As a reminder your GWID is G********. If you have not had an opportunity to access the Status Check, please do so as soon as possible. If you are unable to log in, please call us at 202-994-6040 before 5:00 pm (EST) tomorrow.
Thank you again for your interest in GW.

<p>Good luck to you all! I'm not even sure yet whether I want to wait for the letter or check the online tomorrow night...</p>
<p>I haven't gotten the e-mail! Crap!
Except I have a Comcast e-mail address, which manages to eat multiple important college e-mails and take 4-5 extra hours to receive the ones that aren't completely missing. Argh.</p>
<p>lol klaz I'm in the same boat as you. I have a comcast email also and I haven't received it yet. As long as my decision is posted tomorrow at 6 it's all good.</p>
<p>i got it too!
questions. how do we access the decision online?
i know you go to the website provided in the email..
so will the thing that says "under review" change to accepted or rejected?</p>
<p>I already know i got in. My uncle works at the school and asked admissions about my file. They let him know. So anti-climatic because GW is my number one.</p>
<p>To make you guys feel better, I had a SAT just short of 1800, a 3.5 gpa, around 4-6 EC's (three being varsity sports-captain), ranked between 35-40 out of 200 (gpa's change per semester) and do not have many volunteer hours. </p>
<p>There is hope for many if I got in. I applied to CCAS majoring in Political Science (what else in DC?)</p>
<p>Though, I do have some hooks and connections. Minority, with uncle knowing many decision-makers at school. Essay was outstanding, according to my English department and recommendations were solid as well.</p>
