I just called the Amherst Admissions office and was told that decisions were mailed yesterday, via regular mail. Good luck everyone!!!

oh. that means i should be getting my letter friday/saturday

ohhhh i am horrified.

did anyone hear anything today? if they were mailed yesterday thats a possibility right? i didn't :(

i imagine if anyone heard, we'd know about it ;)

Nothing in NY...ahhh it's killing me...and not, softly.

will Amherst notify intels via e-mail ?

sorry... what's an intel?

international student

just got my decision via email... waitlisted... :(
(i'm intel too)

also international and also waitlisted.

international and waitlisted

hmm dis isn't a gd sign, seems like they are abusing the waitlist :(

did u guys apply for finaid?

i applied.

I'm not international, but they emailed mine - waitlisted. I don't think I'll stay on the list...MIT, here I come!

amyloplast and others -- My son received an international email saying he was waitlisted also, alththough we live in New York. I called admissions. They say to DISREGARD THE E-MAIL. They would not confirm whether waitlisting was correct or not. It seems to me that the proper thing for them to do would be to send a corretive e-mail, but they did not indicate they were doing this -- the receptionist just said to wait for the mail.

I thought the waitlist letter was a classy one. This is not classy.

I MADE IT!!!!!! E-mail Decision, International.

Accepted! Got to pay <1000. But I don't think I am going.

My daughter got accepted, but her Financial Aid Packet seems to have arrived before her official acceptance letter. Isn't that strange? We live in MA, so its hard to understand why they got separated....

As I recall, ours came under separate cover, as well. Thank the USPS.
