Decisions Will Be Posted March 24th at 4pm EST

Anyone else getting excited? :D

I am excited and nervous all at the same time. :D

Mostly nervous :)

yea - big time nervous. It just happens that this week is like the busiest week of my life. So I have some things to keep my mind distracted. Hopefully.

Hi all,

I am from Pakistan. Could u please clarify the time i would be able to have access to my decision? Pakistan’s time is 10hrs ahead of NYC’s.

Thanks.

Bryn Mawr Decisions will be available on your Virtual Bryn Mawr Internet Site
4 pm NYC time on line on Wed March 24, 2010

friend got the Fedex acceptance today. she’s international.

Anyone else scared of the money coming there way? I’m not exactly up for merit aid (or at least, not a good deal of it) and thanks to the FAFSA, which is intent on ruining my parents finances, I’m doubt I’m applicable for fin. aid.

I’m really nervous. :(

Thanks for your assistance.

Would u please chance me? I don’t have any1 around me who has applied to US before so i am kind of jittery. :$

SAT 1; 2230 (CR+M=1430, W=800)
SAT 2: 800 Maths1, 800 Maths 2 and 770 Physics (studied physics from scratch exclusively for SATs as i had no prior knowledge of the subject)
TOEFL: 111 (all section scores are +25)

I have followed British-patterned education system from the past 4 yrs.

O-Levels (9 and 10): 8As (almost all on 95% +)
AS-Levels(11) : 4As (I scored distinction in this for having the highest average in the region)
A-levels (12): Predicted (4A*)

ECs: keyboard playing, investor in govt’ securities, volunteer at SOS, writer for school magazine, intern at 2 of the leading firms of my city (its a small rural town in Pakistan), counsellor for juniors, assistant maths teacher, cricket, swimming and badminton…several others.

I have never studied any of the natural/physical sciences in school as we are given the option of pursuing pure sciences or social sciences, not a combo of both. I opted for the latter as i have always been fixated abt majoring in economics.

Thanks in advance.

Does Bryn Mawr mail decisions in addition to having them online on Wednesday? If so, would they be mailed on Wednesday, or earlier so that people could get them around Wednesday.

Yes, you will get your admission decision in the mail - along with some more information in the event of positive news! I don’t know when exactly when the letters will be mailed though. I don’t even remember how long I had to wait in between my online notification and the letter. I was super nervous right before I got the decision, but once I knew I was in I didn’t really care so much about the paper notification anymore.

Good luck and try not to go insane in the next few days! ;)

I was looking at my Virtual Bryn Mawr account, there has been a box added that says enrollment dates and under it has a link that says “open enrollment dates.” Has this been added to anyone elses account?

Accepted!!! I got a letter about being a 125th Anniversary Scholar in the mail today :]

skittle - did anything change on your BM virtual site? Can you see your Acceptance Status there and your Financial Aid Award?

hjohn–same here. That is new.

skittlerose & deutro–congrats! What a great thing for you both!

Underneath the “undergraduate center” box has there always been a link that says “student gateway”? I am trying my hardest to remember if all of it was there or not.

congrats to those of you that have heard! that is great!

@ Sailski

Nothing changed for me on the site besides that open enrollment link.
