Hi everyone,

So when do you guys think Carleton will release their decisions this year. I can't believe its already March!!

P.S. this board is super quiet!!

I think Carleton will mail on the 18th/21st. Last year, letters started to arrive on the 21st or 22nd, I believe. I’m so excited and nervous at the same time!

Last year, I got mine on the 21st.

(I agree about the board being quiet, but it will probably be a lot more active in the spring.)

I am very excited. and hahaha lol

I believe mine also came on the 21st last year (I can’t remember the exact date, but 21 sounds right to me). Good luck all of you! :)

Was it a small envelope? or a large one? What was inside the envelope? I am so curious!

It’s a large white envelope with a nice blue embossed folder inside. Inside the folder are the acceptance letter and some brochures and flyers with information.

has anyone received a letter yet?

I received my decisions letter today.

Wow! Where do you live? Did you get in?

If rigden did indeed get it, that means they’re on their way! Aaaahh, I hope it doesn’t take too long to reach the east coast. Good luck, everybody! :)

Looking at rigden’s other posts, I saw that he lives in Minnesota. Midwesterners should receive letters next, and then those on the coasts!

I live in Minnesota and I have a friend who got waitlisted today. Good luck to the rest of you!

Yes, I do live in Minnesota. I live in Minneapolis, so that’s probably why I received my letter so quickly. And for those who care, I did get accepted into Carleton!!! It was a large envelope that had a fancy folder with a seal on it, as others have described.
Best of luck to all others waiting.

Was it sent USPS First-Class or Priority or Express?? (Just trying to figure out when I might hear from Carleton)

Ah the anticipation! Can’t wait to get home tomorrow then, CMC and Carleton possibly!

I have no idea. There is nothing on the envelope indicating what type of shipping it was shipped as; it’s pretty much a blank envelope except for the addresses and a barcode on the top right side.

It should be first class. Any admissions mailing material I’ve received from other schools has been first class, but that’s a bit of an assumption. I think the viewbook was sent to me by first class.

Admissions decision mailings are sent to applicants in the US by regular first class mail. They should come soon. Because, as we all know, neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.

I am cross-posting, but my daughter just received her acceptance and financial aid offer in today’s mail. She is over the moon happy and so are we.

Best of luck to everyone!
