Decisions?

Does anyone know exactly when we will be receiving decisions? I know it says mid-march but I can't wait! Also, I guess the portal will inform us before a letter?

I want to know too! I think that I read on the class of 2016 thread that decisions came out last year on March 24th, so I am guessing the end of the third week of March. Good luck!!

I can’t wait that long:( This is going to be the longest 25 days of my life.

haha yeah i know all of this is so unnecessarily stressful. where are you all from and what are you planning on majoring in?

I’m from central jersey and I’m planning on majoring in sociology/social psychology. I know that engineering/business is really competitive at Lehigh so I’m hoping they’ll be more accepting of someone applying into a major like this.

i’m from the boston area and i am applying as a political science major, and i’m interested in the global citizenship program, so i’m hoping that will make me stand out as well.

Just a letter ten minutes ago. I was admitted :D

@thecontender congratulations!!! did your online application status change or does it still say, “Decisions for regular decision applicants will be posted here in March” ?

It still says decisions will be posted by march. And thank you!

wait howd you get your letter already?? for regular decision?

Yes correct. I applied regular decision and I got an acceptance letter saying they want me to be a part of the diversity weekend. Since I have to register by the 23rd of March, I guess that’s why they gave me the heads up.

Congrats, contender!

Where did you apply from?

Thank you! And Bethlehem haha  Lehigh is practically in my backyard. I’d say a 5-10 minute drive.

Congrats! Should everyone except an answer within the next few days?

expect* an answer, sorry.

I would say you guys’ll probably have to wait till around the 24-26th. The D-Life students probably find out early because of the weekend. Decisions for my year were made on the Portal on the 26th (I believe). Be prepared for the portal to crazy around that time, wild lags. But (at least for my year) there’s a nice song to greet you with your acceptance ;)

congrats @thecontender!! this is so nerve-wracking though! i’m counting down the days :/

Excuse me…

Can I just ask a question for RD for US kids? Do decisions come via a portal or by the US postal system? And if it’s a portal, were students sent log in info or something? My D has been exceedingly independent throughout this process and ultimately private. So while I know to where she applied, I don’t know any of the how they get decisions. She has however promised to tell me where she got in before she asks me to write the check… how considerate, Modadunn says sarcastically. :)

Hey thecontender, I just got a letter, too! Such an unexpected surprise! I live pretty close to Lehigh/my sister is a senior, which might have helped. Good luck to everyone else!

Congrats guys! I wish we could all hear this early I’m going crazy too!
