Anyone have an idea when we can expect to hear from Holy Cross? I know they say by April 1st but could it be sooner~and will the decision be in the mail or online?

My friend got into Holy Cross last year and they mailed decisions around March 20th-April 1st. Assuming that things are normal, they probably will mail decisions in late March–the latest maybe April.

Good luck to your daughter! HC is an amazing school and my friend is having a blast :D.

Thanks~and good luck to you at Tufts!!

Last year I found out March 28 (I remember bc it was the last school I heard from). But I’m in CA so I probably found out a little later than most.

They mailed out the acceptance letters on March 24. Got the mail on March 26 in NY. I knew people from MA & NH got it on the 25th.

Depending on where you live in the U.S., you should receive a decision in the mail during the last week of March.

i also believe around the last week of march. i got an email about financial aid today so i’m assuming maybe they’re finalizing decisions and what not. Does anyone know if admissions and financial aid office work completely separately or not?

xodance, what did the financial aid email say? I didn’t get one, so maybe the fact that you did get one indicts you are accepted. I hope I get one of those emails haha

***indicates you are accepted

it didn’t indicate anything about me actually getting it, they thought i was missing something but it was titled URGENT and said I needed to get it in by this week! not sure what to think of it.

The Admissions Office and Financial Aid office operate separately. If you received a notice that you are missing Financial Aid forms, it means that it could affect your financial aid package (and you need to get those forms in ASAP!). Receiving a notice from financial aid has no bearing or indication on your admissions decision.

All students should hear their decisions, by mail, by April 1.

are we told when the letters are sent?

Letters have gone out this afternoon! You won’t receive any sort of official notification, but look out for them next week.

My D received an email from Wesleyan’s financial aid office asking for additional info and we had hoped it was a positive sign but she got waitlisted. So you can’t read into contact from the financial aid office although it would seem to make sense that they wouldn’t want to process financial aid info for students who don’t get admitted.

This school has been very quiet with admissions info…
I forget about it all the time

Has anyone received their letter?

does financial aid come with the letter?

The bad thing about living in Georgia is that it will take a week for me to get my decision :(

Clark sent me their FA package last Monday (18th) and it still hasn’t come.

I wish HC posted decisions online, lol. Good luck everyone! :)

HC doesn’t send your FA package with your acceptance letter unfortunately. According to HC’s website: “If you submit a complete financial aid application you will be notified of your financial aid award shortly after you receive an offer of admission, no later than April 5, 2012.”

thank you very much for the clarification. best of luck

kbrown - same here. Holy Cross has completely fallen off my daughter’s radar due to lack of contact.
