what about washington makes you want to go there? just curious

As far as the school it has nice academics and I hear that it's really big and busy, which I love. I've looked at the pictures and I think it looks really nice there. It is also in a city, and I love a city setting. Its been my top choice for a while.

I also want out of NJ so bad and I dont want to look back.

for me its cuz it's the only coll by home =/

But if it was up to me I'd go somewhere in CALI cuz it rains wayyyy too much and the classes @ UW are HUGE...haha I guess I wouldnt be that ****ed if I get rejected

YES! I got in. Just found out now. My dad called me up and said he got a letter that on the outside says "Your Offer of Admission". I'm not sure if I'm gonna go there but at least I know I'll be going somewhere. By the way, my status hasn't changed online, it still says they have reviewed my application and will be sending me my results. Good luck to everyone else. Here are my stats incase anyone is interested:

3.71 gpa uw
27 act
3 ap's (all taken this year)
I wrote on two of the three essays
out of state (CA)

Congrats heefar! I know you'd make it in. Anyone else get results yet?

Did you guys send in your transcripts? On my account thing, it says that they gave my application an initial review, but i'm still missing my transcript. I thought that we don't need to turn in our transcripts until the spring.

Yea, u need to send an official transcript.

It depends, check this page:

Look at the section that says "Who needs to submit a transcript?" Good luck with your admissions!

heefar; when did you apply?

I applied November 23...

Thank you.

mmm; my calculations estimate you got in with less than a 70 AI score.

my essays ane ec's must of been really strong to them.

I sent my application November 12th. Sent in all my transcripts at the same time also. I still haven't recieved a prelim evaluation. Am I looking at a rejection?

Have any running start students been accepted yet? Let me know!

definatley no. some pple have to wait til march til they find out they r in, so don't go crazy if u dont get an answer back by the end of the month.

What ever happens to anyone trying to get in this year just think what is going to happen for the class of 2008: They will have to pass all four sections of the WASL;
Complete a major project before graduating; take a tougher SAT (the math will be higher and they will have to write an essay on the spot); and; minimum math and science requirements will increase. Fianlly; a minimum of 3 college prep classes will have to be completed.

By the way; Brett, you should have been in by now. I don't think there is a problem but when out of state people with at least no better numbers than yours are getting in questions are in order for the people of this state. I don't buy all the diversity nonsense. Times are tough in this state. ALL qualified and I mean ALL qualified applicants from this state should have first crack at the state University. The out of state folks should be the ones kept waiting for left over openings.

What is running start?

And Brett, what are your stats?
