<p>I’m still wondering about Honors College as no letter has arrived. Really hoped to get into Honors college, but Spire doesn’t say that. 
Only that got admitted to the first choice of major. What do on-line accounts say?</p>

<p>On the first screen, it just has the congratulations message. But when clicking on application status check (in the box to the right), it says:</p>

<p>Click HEAR? Really? My DS is going to have something to say about this for sure (he is away, but said I could check on-line accounts and regular mail for him). UMASS is not his first choice but, if it was, he would reconsider based on this alone!</p>

<p>I get some grammatically incorrect emails at work too (lose vs. loose is especially grating), but for college admissions? It’s all unacceptable to me!</p>
<p>infiniteloop: There was no separate application for the honors college. Some people have merit awards already (from mail?), but there wouldn’t be financial aid info yet as FAFSA can’t be submitted until it becomes available on Jan. 1. So I would guess that info would be forthcoming later on…</p>
