<p>D waitlisted earlier today - then the rejections tonight from Georgetown and Vanderbilt. A sad evening in our house - she's not up for the "tomorrow is another day speech" and especially not the "they don't know what they're missing" speech. Let's hope tomorrow is better.</p>

<p>hi college momof4...going through it with you as are others, it's hard to know what to say to them, our son was also waitlisted, and 'nova was one of his top choices and the one that he felt he had a good chance to get into..3.5 gpa, Nat'l merit commended scholar, 30act, 1930 SAT, sports capt, volunteer work, catholic school...he was pretty sad yesterday, and waiting for his last two is now scary for him. He does have some great other acceptances, but he really wanted Villanova, and the last two we are waiting for .... keep your chin up, they'll feel better tomorrow!</p>
