For all that are curious i was at a tulane event last night and the admish officer said they will start to read apps next week so the first decisions will not be rolled out till mid/late next week

Thank you so much for this update! S and I can stop obsessively checking Gibson for a little while now at least…

yup no worries the rep told me also you will get an email when there is a change in your status on gibson

That’s a new feature. I hope that is true.

yeah dont shot the messanger though, thats just what i was told by the VA tulane rep

I hope it’s true too but we didn’t get an email when her status changed from incomplete to complete.

Just met with my admissions counselor and he said he won’t even be back in NOLA until the beginning of November and that I should start checking Gibson in mid-November. He also said they do not review the apps in the order they are received.

I just went back and looked, my son got his acceptance e-mail on October 29th last year and I know there were a few that had heard back earlier than he did. Last year the first person to report an acceptance was on October 11th. Seems they are running later this year. <a href=“Class of 2018 Decisions - #16 by Soakley - Tulane University - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/tulane-university/1559992-class-of-2018-decisions-p2.html

My DD’s status changed today but didn’t get an email about the change of status. She applied EA on 10/15 and changed it to SCEA on 10/20. Excited to hear if she’s accepted. Her sister just graduated in May and loved her four years at Tulane!

I don’t know when it was up on Gibson, but through the mail I was accepted October 18th last year.

They do seem to be about a week later this year.
