Ahh I'm dying here...How long do you think it will take to get to NY?

it sounds like the peopel who got them are close to where brandeis is so they probably sent them out on thursday or friday...but i don't know when it was postmarked. i bet most people will get theirs tomorrow..it'll be the 3rd or 4th day since it's mailed and even though mail isn't delivered on sunday they probably still transport it or whatever. when i needed to send something overnight on a saturday the post office told me they would deliver it on sunday if they accepted it...

just a joke...Brandeis seems to be notorious for being late/unorganized, in my experience. But I say this with utmost affection. The two classes I sat in on started 10 minutes late, my regional information session started like thirty minutes late, i didn't get my applicant account untill after I got accepted, they really don't care when you send your mid-year reports in, financial aid office told my dad not to worry about some form we had to fill out...the list is endless. :) I know there's reasons for all of these, but I find the pattern amusing.

Yeah, I have had some similar experiences as hemingwayisdead. They aren't the most orderly people on the planet, but whatever, I love the school anyway.

They still get things done in their unorderliness, which is the important part. Just one of our quirks.

Congrats to all those who got in! Just a note, make sure you get your deposits in ASAP! Decide on which college as fast as possible if Brandeis is a contender. You are placed in rooms based on when your deposits were received and those who turn theirs in last get lofted triples. And while those aren't necessarily bad, doubles are definitively better.

I live 45 minutes away as well, but haven't gotten anything yet. I'll check when the mail comes later today, maybe I'll find something from them. Otherwise I thin that's a sign that I got rejected.

Why in the world would you place so much weight on the supposed efficiency of the US Postal service!! :)

I'm in! No money though lol! Does this mean no chance of scholarship? :( I'm happy I got in though. :)

i live in MA and still have not received mine

I got in! I also got a Trustee Scholarship. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll beable to go even with the scholarship everything will cost 30k...

so i got mine today, and i live in Oklahoma. If Brandeis didn't mention anything about merit aid, does that mean I'll receive 0 dollars merit aid? Like...for Syracuse, the financial package came several days after the acceptance letter.

i'm accepted! and i'm a martin luther king scholar with a full ride!

congrats to all accepted ones..

how did u find out abt ur decision

I'm in! We just got a big packet with congratulations on the outside of it in the mail today :)

FYI I was a deferred blue ribbon - so there is still hope.

congrats aaron12345

where u from.. & when was the the package sent

i live in DC and mine was sent march 15th

Yeah, I got in today too. Also got an awful, awful financial aid package. Nothing whatsoever. But it definitely makes my decision easier, as I wasn't that crazy about Brandeis as is.

ppl, any idea abt notifications for international students...
now i'm startin to freak out

im really freaking out now b/c i live in MA and have not received anything
