Decisions!

are you internatianal too? (if you're national, then that really does suck ... really bad ...)

Maybe they just thought you'd get in somewhere better, and were using them as a safety? Seriously, I don't see how you got rejected. :-(

got mine today...rejected. they sent it out yesterday the 20th. oh well..i wasn't really expecting to get in anyways. congrats to everyone who got in and good luck to those who haven't got their letters yet!

Can people please post what the acceptance and denial envelopes look like: Large=acceptance? Small=denial?

mine rejection was a small..normal envelope. i heard...maybe from this forum?...that the acceptances have Congrats written on the outside of the envelope

Depends. My acceptance last year was in small envelope.

Accepted! I applied ED and was deferred.
GPA: 3.7
SATS: 1270
Lots of music Ec's good recs, etc.

rejected...

The acceptance envelope has a folder in it--it's pretty big. I don't remember it saying anything on the outside though.

Decision: Waitlisted

I'm just thankful that I got waitlisted. I was pretty much expecting a rejection since like 4 other people from my school got accepted at the same time. The decision came in a regular envelope similar to the rejections. It says that I will be notified by June 1st :( But, now I have a chance to show some interest (visit and/or interview) and add extra stuff to my application (Recently came in 1st in school science fair and got highest score in school on AMC12).

Is it a bad sign that I have not recieved any decision yet?

I shouldn't think so... your mailperson is probably just sick today... You'll get it soon, don't worry!

"Lynxie
Decision: Rejected!

Stats:[list][] SAT: 2310[] SAT IIs: 2390"

With...2310? Eeagh!

I got in!

Stats: 2240 SAT, 750's and a 790 on SAT IIs, 97 GPA, top 5%, 3 5's on my APs (i don't think I reported this). I'm a good writer, very active in ECs, stellar recs.

I got 25k a year (Presidential Scholar). I kind of wish I got a full tuition scholarship... I know I sound whiny, LOL, but Brandeis's main competition is Harvard and Brown. But this will still be a tough decision!

BTW, acceptance is BIG ENVELOPE with "Congratulations!" printed on the front. Can't be mistaken for anything else. You get a car decal, brochure, forms, some letters, all in a blue folder. Very neat.

lingbo did u recieve your letter today? Or were just deferals and rejections recieved today?

I got my letter on Monday, actually.

Anyone from west of the rockies get an acceptance/rejection letter? Specifically, California? More specifically, Los Angeles area????

REJECTED!

Eh, but at least their letter was quite nice. I've read rejection letters from other schools that were unnecessarily harsh.

do they send international decisions through courier or regular post mail
