I got accepted as well. Excited, but I?ll have to wait a bit to see the financial aid info first.

i got told personally today that im in although i can't get home to see the letter for a week since im in PA and i live in CA. they were mailed on friday. im excited!

Do you think the notifications will have reached the west coast (i'm in seattle) by today (monday)? Or will they tommorow, tuesday? Two days is probably a bit optimistic, but well see...

My friend (who also lives in Seattle) got his waitlisted lettter today. I think it'll be tomorrow or the next day for us. Eeek!

I live in Virginia and got a letter today, accepted! Nothing on financial aid yet though. Anyway, good luck to everyone.

Congratulations to all those accepted!

I got waitlisted..(I am an international student from Nepal)...What are the odds of getting in?

just got in...thank god they sent it in that massively thick envelope

Congrats everyone... I'll keep my fingers crossed for your financial aid!

Good luck to those who are still looking. Seriously, the only people you will meet in life who care as much about "what college you go to" are only the people here on CC. Parents already know this but it's worth stating again that there is no "best college" and it matters more on what you do than where you do it at.

At least in terms of med school admissions, there are about 30-40 colleges and universities that are considered equal in terms of prestige and academics and the response from adcoms will be "Oh great"... but, with the next breath, the conversation will be, "So what's their MCATs, GPA and extracurriculars... how did they do on the interview?" If you don't go to one of these 30-40 schools, then the conversation will be, "Where is X?"... "OK... so what's their MCATs, GPA and extracurriculars... how did they do on the interview?"

Well we're in VT and haven't heard yet. How did it get all the way to Seattle and not to VT? Maybe tomorrow.

bethievt... perhaps heavy packages weigh down the postal person?
I hear 'them' vermont hills are pretty steep.

Did your son ever visit HC? I hope he liked it.

waitlisted, didn't have an interview and live within 150 miles of campus - is that a major factor?

I'm in! I live in Minnesota and just got my acceptance letter today!

lakenridge, I was also waitlisted and I live 147 miles from campus and didn't have an interview. They probably realized that I wouldn't have attended anyway.

I know that I am going to college now, though I haven't heard back from anywhere else yet. They handwrote that I submitted a fantastic application (which they underlined).. Does everyone get that or does that mean I have a chance at scholarships?

I got that too

Accepted today-- I'm in Alabama! It's a big envelope with a really nice letter from the Dean of Admissions inside. I'll post stats later, if it'll help anyone.

I sent this school NOTHING but the common app and they for some reason rejected me. Is this some sort of scheme to make them seem more selective, rejecting all incomplete apps even if they didn't pay the fee?

I received the acceptance package this afternoon. I live in So. California.
