Was anyone not admitted per the admitted student page?

question, how do you check your stats.... i applied using common app, i dont think i have a UD number

Note ... this check in does NOT use the UD Student Number. It uses the ID and Password that one may have inititated for the original site for status checkin.

dd admitted ... OOS , 1800, 28 ACT, 4.0/4.0; 1/220. 3 sport athlete for 4 years each; recruited athlete, tons of ECs.

I was not admitted using the status page...hoping this doesnt mean I was rejected
oos 1800 (510 cr, 660 math, 630 writ) 3.8 w lots of ecs good essay and recs
school doesnt rank

Mirabeau- It did say those things when I logged in. Great! How about merit, did you or anyone else here about that.

I coulc just be patient, I'm sure it will come in the mail today. It's just that we don't usually get mail until after 5:00pm.

Xaries-my son also cannot sign in to the admitted students site-hoping still, maybe they didn't get to everyone yet-I don't think all decisions go out at the same time-with your stats I doubt you wouldn't get in. So that gives me hope-son's stats-OOS-GPA3.6UW-SATS 1240CR/MATH. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Xaries-where else are you considering? He is considering VTech, SUNY-New Paltz-Mary Washington, (James Madison if accepted, still waiting)We live in NY. Although Udel is really first choice if accepted.

I am crossing my fingers. accepted: stonyBrook
binghamton
Rutgers college of A&S
Penn State
deferred: Northeastern
rejected: TCNJ
My sister goes to Udel and does well, so Im hoping that would be a plus

Hm....DD was able to log into the admitted students page. At the top it said "Welcome [DD's name]! Wow, I hope it's the real thing. I suppose she'll know for sure later today; we're in an NYC suburb. Her stats are decent at best; UD was a reach for her:

Somewhere around a 3.0 GPA (goes to a small parochial school so there's not GPA or ranking)

SATs: 1190/1890

School doesn't offer AP classes

No honors classes

No SAT II

Maybe that will give others some hope! I should add that she is EXTREMELY focussed on a career in Fashion Merchandising. She already had study and work experience in the field before she applied and may have been attractive to the specific department because of it.

Yeesh, I hope I'm not going out on a limb here, posting before there's a paper acceptance in hand.

I went for an admissions session and the one thing I did remember was that the admissions dean said starting this year they're looking at the SAT on the 2400 scale. My counselor thought I'd need at least an 1850 to be admitted or a 28 ACT. Not sure though.

i was able to log into the admitted students site...however I called the admissions office and the lady said that it didnt mean i was accepted? cause i wanted to know if i could send in my deposit despite not receiving a letter yet..so hmm who knows. i bet they just have to say that. i mean, why would I be allowed to log in if i wasn't accepted? anyways..my stats..

gpa-3.2
SATs - cr-610, math-580, writing-650
sat2s - lit-640, math1-620
i'm OOS and had a sister who attended UDel.

I remember waiting last year for the good news and I know how hard it is! I wish you good luck, and enjoy all the upcoming events they schedule for the freshmen. It is a lot of fun!

Mail just arrived; nothing from Del!

OK, I'm a crazy mother, so I called Del admissions just to sweetly report that my kid seems to be up on the admitted students page. Nice lady said I should really wait for the letter before sending any deposit :-). I asked if she could tell me if the letter had been sent and she looked up her records. Told me that the letter had been sent on March 10 so it should "arrive in a few days or so"? A week plus from Delaware to New York? The mystery only deepens!
