Does UMass release decisions online?
When do you think well hear back for ea?

As disorganized as this school seems I would say maybe March haha..I have now called 2 times bc my D's app states we didnt pay the app fee which we did when she applied online and as such her EA app is incomplete. I have been told both times I will get a call back..After a month I dont think thats happening..I am really no longer interested in shelling out OOS tuition for a school that cannot give me the most basic of information in a months time I think I have been more than patient. This tells me their administration is likely very poor...I can imagine what their registrar bursar and financial aid office are like if admissions is any indication...

I know that last year, the earliest I heard kids getting notified was Dec. 20th

my application status is now "under review"...decisions must be coming soon

CollegeBoard says

12/15 U Mass Amherst: Deadline for college to notify students of early action
[/quote]

Has it said that in previous years?

It says online that EA will hear anywhere from the end of December until mid-January

is anyone else's app "under review"
does anyone know from last year, etc. how long decisions come out after the application is "under review"?

my D applied ED, her app has said under review forever! I pulled up last years threads from here, and looks like decisions went out the week of the 15th. I'm not sure what the web site said last year, but people apparently were told to expect decisions late Dec- mid Jan but many received notice the week of the 15th. Let's hope!!

They finally updated my D's app status today to under review also..I guess they mysteriously discovered we paid the app fee when she applied cause they finally updated that as well..Keeping my fingers crossed for my D....

My son applied early (Oct) and did the common application. He's never received an Administration ID or Password, if you did the common how did you receive your information?

i received mine in the mail not EMAIL... i would seriously call admissions office to see if they got ur son's stuff cuz i got mine a month ago.

^^ Yes, call admissions. It took about a month to receive the info (via US Mail). D did Common app.

Called admissions, actually very nice people.
Anyway, apparently something went out to us with the ID and password, but we never go it. They offered to send it out again, but she pointed out that we'd probably hear via mail before we got the ID and password!

He's listed as "under review"

I got in but found out online on december 14th..I found out pretty early but I was extremely mad I didn't get into commonwealth! Hope you guys got in! Although it is my last choice, still feels good to get in somewhere early.

My daughter got a deferral letter in the mail yesterday. She was applying to the isenberg business school. She is in state. She is still interested in going and I'm not sure what their enrollment is of deferred students but she was pleased it was not a rejection. She is still waiting for other colleges.

Does anyone know if you end up getting rejected from the business program, do they consider you for undeclared or do you have to let them know you are interested?

Her gpa is 3.2 with 1760 in SAT and great ecs.

If you are not accepted for your preferred major, they may accept you into your second choice, or undeclared if you don't get the first or second choice.
