Will they email us when the SCEA decisions are up or will we have to keep constantly checking?

Good question... I hear that the decisions come up at 5pm ET though, so I would check around then.

Last year they came out a day early though...and there has been much talk that this Friday (the 12th) could actually be judgment day. Last year's decisions were put up at 5 pm on Friday the 14th.

But wasn't last year's December 15th a Saturday? Maybe they just don't like to do it on weekends.

And I guess I'll check on Friday just to be sure. A Friday decision might be nicer, just because you don't have to face a multitude of curious peers the very next day, without having time to get used to what that decision was.

It was a Saturday. But that implies that they had all their work wrapped up before the weekend. Wouldn't they want to do the same again this year?

Very true. Hm, I guess that getting our results on the 12th could be a real possibility.

Last year they were put up the 14th at 5pm. I know this for a fact because I checked my friend's facebook history.

I think someone called (eating food?) about this and they told him that it's coming out on the 15th.

Although the 12th isn't a bad idea :D

On a kinda of off-topic note, the RD results come out March 31st. :)

Either way, that day is coming up way too quickly. I don't know if I'd rather know at all until after Christmas....

Yeah right, at 5:00:01pm I'll be on my computer hitting the refresh button over and over.

LOL rb3...wow. classic college obsessed stalker. love it.

well the cornell ED decisions are going up DEC 11TH...

I would LOVE if the decisions were up on Friday. But, since eating food called and asked, I'm assuming that the admissions office didn't lie to him. Although, I agree; if they don't work on the weekends, why don't they give it to us on Friday?

Hmm... should we call again? lol

I think I'll leave the sound on, and then close my eyes while the page is loading. If I don't hear music (which I most likely won't) I'll open my eyes slowly and confirm my deferral/rejection status (most likely deferral, but could be rejection :P)

In the slim chance that i DO hear music (which I won't), I'll open my eyes and go absolutely nuts.

I still abide by my plan to ask someone of the opposite sex out on a date that day.

Then, after we go see a movie and give each other hugs, I can come home and PANIC!!!! PANIC!!!

Then fail the test the next day as the occasion may be.

and then I will go on facebook and be like. "</3 Yale, I thought our love was forever."

It also said December 15th on the email in which I recieved my Eli account information.

BY December 15th ;)

I think that closing your eyes and leaving your speakers on is too much torture. I'd rather find out by seeing "I'm sorry," or "We regret..." or something like that than hearing silence. I'll leave the volume up, though, in the slight (very slight) chance I do get in.

** Online notification dates: December 15th for Early Action, March 31st for Regular Decision

Gah!
Brown, Columbia, AND Cornell on December 11?

asdlkjf;alkw.

Stanford's officially an hour later than us, but I hear that they've found a way to find out online already. MIT's later than us too :)
