Has anyone heard back from Marist yet?

nopeeeee. i wishhh.

d acceted with presidential scholarship

When did you get your letter? Today? I did not get anything today..hope that is not bad news!

Got the letter in Saturday's mail but we live in Dutchess County where the school is located, so that may be the reason.

i didn't hear back and i'm in Newtown, CT (like a hour away), but my friend from Danbury heard back... so i'm just expecting it in the mail tomorrow?

Accepted yesterday! Big envelope with folder inside. Live about an hour from Marist

im so nervous i want to go to marist i get it tom

Got letter today - d was accepted with presidential scholarship (12,000 per year). She applied to the honors program but the letter said nothing about that. Does anyone know when you hear about that? Does that come later or was she just not accepted into that? I would have assumed those who have the credentials to qualify for the presidential scholarship would get into the honors program.

rrjs82 - congrats on acceptance and scholarship. Has daughter decided on Marist, what other schools is she considering ?

thanks, we are considering Loyola MD, Fairfield and Marist.

She was also accepted into SUNY Binghamton and SUNY Stony Brook. She also applied to University of Delaware & The College of NJ but we haven't heard from them. Her first choice is actually Marist, however, don't know if that is going to happen because even with the Presidential Scholarship, it will be more expensive than Binghamton or Stony Brook. She is not at all considering Stony Brook (too close to our house) but Binghamton is a real possibility. We let her apply to Marist (the only private school we let her apply to) because we knew she'd probably get that scholarship, but again, even with that scholarship we don't know if we can swing it.

i got in yesterdayy (: with a scholarship

Stepson is still waiting. He lives way up in upstate NY.

As of Feb 4 we still hadn't heard.

I got a letter dated Jan 22nd that they got my stuff, so I'm not expecting to hear for awhile.

Where are you from CollMom? My stepson is up near Watertown, NY which is way up there and he didn't get his letter/packet yet and he was early action. Someone I work with in Danbury, CT received a letter for their daughter this past Saturday. She was denied. I just don't know what's taking so long since their website said they mailed them on Jan. 30. No news is good news....maybe.

We're from Maine, still havent heard as of today, Thurs (5th). Fortunately, my daughter has been accepted at other school's she's applied to (yeah!!), some with and some without aid. Marist isn't her first choice, or this would really be nerve racking!! We usually get mail within two days, even if it's coming from Florida or Colorado where we have family and mail things regularly. One poster said ltrs went out on Sat, so surprised we haven't heard yet.

Us too, Thursday and still nothing. It is his first choice, so YES, this is so nerve racking. We can't take it! He has been accepted at Auburn, but we'd prefer Marist, and he would too. Maybe tomorrow is the day. Let's hope. Thanks for your reply!

Good luck to everyone. Son is a freshman at Marist and is very happy. Here's a bit of advice. If Marist is your first choice, be sure to send in the housing deposit ASAP!!!!

daughter has been accepted at Marist with 8K scholarship, also considering Loyola MD, anyone have any advice ?

Also, why is it important to send housing deposit ASAP ? thanks.
