decisions?

does anybody know the date applicants received admission decisions last year? and it was via regular mail right?

i have no idea the date (i guess no one who applies to pc goes on cc...) but i'm pretty sure that last year accepted students recieved a large envelope in the mail

They are being mailed this week, As per Scott Seseske , Providence admissions

The PC admissions blog says that they went out today.
Providence College: Scott Seseske

thanks guys!

How cute is that with the pictures of the post office and all? I hope I am still smiling tomorrow - we'll see - my son's biggest reach.

do you think they'll get to us by tomorrow? that fast?

I live right outside of Boston and received a big envelope today! :)

i got in. wooo

Waitlisted - oh well

I got in, but not with any scholarship or the honors program? im pretty ****ed since this was my safety school and i wanted a scholarship...

tromboneplayer i looked at your stats and wow i'm surprised you didn't get in the honors program/scholarships...are you sure those dont come later?

i'm not positive... plus im a legacy at PC so i thought id have a leg up...

How do you look up someone's statistics? I've seen this on other discussions & always wonder how one poster knows so much about another. It seems like it could be a useful tool when evaluating a discussion/ acceptance or rejection. So to you go look up that person's previous posts? It seems like a lot of work.

I wondered the same thing...idk if there is a way to look up stats other than clicking "view use profile" and then "view threads/posts by user". thats how i do it.

trombone...i was also accepted and also didn't get any info on scholarhips/honor college if that makes you feel better. says something in the packet about receiving financial aid stuff within a week?

Yeahh I was accepted today and didn't even know that there was an Honors College program. I'm thinking that we'll find out later when we receive the financial aid info like 09surebo said.

Honors Program invitations and scholarship awards were mailed out about a week after admissions decisions last year. Hope this helps all of you who are hoping for scholarships!

oh good! thanks peachy

good to know thanks! although that may not be such a good thing since if i get a lot of money i might have no choice but to go there and then my parents would visit a lot (it's about 20 minutes away). if only it was a little farther away- its a great school and i think id love it
