<p>so, for regular decision, i know they let u know BY may, but might they let u know before may? i mean, do they send decisions out in groups every week or so before may? how does that work? lol.</p>

<p>Last year I think most colleges sent out decisions the last week of march/first week of april. Some colleges will tell you what day they’re releasing their decisions (via an e-mail probably) and others won’t.</p>
<p>Some colleges let you know before May and sometimes it can be very very random. Generally you get an e-mail saying that your status has been updated or a decision has been made. Then you can log onto your applet to check your admit status.</p>

<p>It depends. If it’s rolling admission, then they’ll send out in batches. Otherwise schools will email you to let you know when the decision date is. It’s usually around end of March. Some will email you. Some will give you an ID so you could check online (they’ll say Mar 30 at 5pm). Some will notify you electronically, then send you an express letter if you are accepted, and snail mail if you are rejected. You’ll need to reply to accepted schools of your decision by May 1. At that time, they’ll go to the waitlist if necessary.</p>
