Decisions

Mine says “admit.” I’m really, really excited! It’s one of my top choices

Also, I am on MyAidAward and I see that I received the William H Gray scholarship worth $30k. Does that mean $30k per year or $30k spread over the four years? Does anyone know?

congrats to you, ddg!

William H. Gray Jr. Scholarship

The William H. Gray Jr. Scholarship provides need-based financial aid to outstanding students from backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented in higher education. Gray Scholars are chosen on the basis of potential for achievement as demonstrated by academic strength, leadership ability, and strong moral character. The financial aid package for Gray Scholars minimizes loan and job expectations over the course of four years.

The Gray Scholarship may be offered in combination with the Marshall Scholarship. Recipients must be United States citizens or permanent residents.

Additional details, including renewal criteria, for the Gray Scholarship can be found here.

Thank you!
Yeah, I read that. So I’ll assume it’s per year? Or I could just wait for my award letter haha

Got accepted and receive the William H Gray Scholarship. Still needs to submit additional financial requirements but I’m so happy!

Dpes anyone know when the admitted student days are?

I believe it is Friday, April 16.

A Closer Look is April 16th. Then, if you decide to attend F&M, there are three days in May which are basically mandatory and are randomly assigned.

Am I at a disadvantage if I can’t go to Beginnings (like do I get alst pick for course selection or anything like that)? I live in Washington State so it’s really expensive to fly out for a day.

DDG: I don’t think you are at a disadvantage per se, if you choose to go to F&M I would wait until you get the packet about Beginnings and then call and talk to whoever’s in charge. I know that the international students generally aren’t able to come and they are still able to pick courses and do everything like that.
