I’m really surprised I got in considering some of the responses of people being waitlisted. I guess I really stood out with my essay or recs.</p>

<p>Accepted for 5 year arts & engineering (I assume, that’s what I applied for) 2180 SAT 4.13 weighted GPA (really weird weighting scale) and a really risky, but cleanly successful, essay</p>
<p>Does anybody know if Lehigh will match scholarships from peer institutions? I received the $20000 Marquis scholarship from Lafayette, but I love Lehigh so much more…</p>

<p>S waitlisted 1350 SAT, 14th out of 317, lots of music, eagle scout.</p>
<p>He was interviewed, took an info session, general tour, and engineering tour. Since we live 5+ hours away, don’t know how much more demonstrated interest he could have shown.</p>

Visited many times, amazing interview according to admissions counselor, many leadership and service activities and many track awards. Accepted at several other top schools so have many good choices.</p>

<p>My S got into Lehigh. Was getting worried because Bucknell Waitlisted. </p>
<p>Yale and Olin denied. </p>
<p>RPI, Northeastern and Case Western also admitted.</p>
<p>Dont know about Union (until tomorrow) and Lafayette. </p>
<p>These schools are getting harder and harder to get into. I feel bad for all you wonderful kids that work so hard and get waitlisted or denied for no reason, just not enough room. Keep the faith, you will be where you are supossed to be.</p>

i almost cried. lehigh is my number one and i thought i may be rejected.
