<p>My D got her packet today! She's in!! Although, surprisingly, she didn't make it into the school of business. The applicant pool must have been strong this year. She's very happy. This was her number one safety school.</p>

<p>ugh!!!! I have a 3.6 but my SAT is only 1610. I'm from NY too. I just cannot do well on that exam :-(</p>

<p>I got in today. I went in undeclared. I applied EA and i'm from NJ.
GPA: 3.6
SATs: math - 650, writing - 660, crit reading - 560
ECs: marching band (drum major), Big Brothers Big Sisters, some other insignificant things</p>
<p>However, I'm not attending. I'm going to Rutgers NB.
Hopefully I just opened a spot for someone who was waitlisted. :)

<p>Just checked on-line and "still under review." S just got in ED to Boston University yesterday though so that's where he'll be going -- so happy for him since it was his first choice.</p>
<p>GOOD LUCK to all of you -- hope you all get in! I went there (albeit 25 ys. ago) and LOVED it and know you will, too. Amherst is the quintessential college town as is nearby Northampton. The combination of area and academic excellence makes it quite the desireable university.</p>
