Declare Major?

<p>Yesterday, I declared my major through MyMajor. How long does it usually take for the major to be reflected on the system or was it too early to declare one, since I start my Freshman classes at Rutgers in September?</p>

<p>I know it's really early to do it, but I already know what I wanted early on and didn't want to wait until the end of my second semester of sophomore year to declare one.</p>

<p>I don’t know what MyMajor is but at Rutgers students in each school declare their major at different times. For instance, students in the School of Arts and Sciences don’t need to declare til the end of their sophomore year. You declare by filling out a form at the academic advisor’s office. This procedure will be explained to you at your academic planning and advising day.</p>
