right now im a sophmore at a 4 year college in NJ and my current major is still “undeclared.” I am trying to transfer to NYU Tisch to major in film/tv. I am interested in declaring my major at my current college as “communications with a concentration in film” (which is the closest thing to a film major that my school has) im doing this because I have a number of short films i would like to shoot this spring during my last semester here at my school before i transfer and in order to shoot them i need access to my schools video equipment including a number of very expensive video cameras…but the only way to get access to these cameras is to be a communications major with a concentration in film…so my question is if i decide to declare this major, would it effect (negatively) the transfer application that I already sent out and if it would be nessesary to contact nyu to let them know about about this change
thanks
