Declaring a major at McCombs: MIS/Supply Chain/Marketing

Hi all, I have a question for the soph/jun/seniors who currently go to McCombs and are planning to major in either of the three majors listed above.

As of now I am an Undeclared freshman, and was definitely thinking about declaring as a Marketing major--until I saw everyone talk about how "useless" it was in terms of job outlook, soft vs hard skills, etc. (I am not trying to put down the major itself, it's just I read A LOT of dirt about it).

My question for you all is:

Is it that hard for Marketing majors to find jobs? What are some good minors that you recommend to pair with Marketing to make myself more "marketable?" (pun)

For MIS there just seems to be so many career paths--could someone simplify them (I know there's the more technical vs business path). Also, would CS majors have a leg up in the IT industry versus MIS majors?

What are some good major minor combinations? (I think an MIS minor is good with any major, but any others? How about Major in MIS and minor in Marketing?)

Are minors very important and have a large impact on your resume/future job?

Thank you so much in advance! I appreciate all your help.
