Declaring a minor

<p>Hello, I was wondering, does it take extra money to declare a minor since I have to take courses of the minor? Can someone tell me the benefits of a minor? It seems like people do it for their joy and interest only. I was thinking of minoring in spanish or computer science for job prospects. Is it difficult to have minor? Any thoughts? </p>
