Hey, I was just wondering how soon going in to McGill Engineering (General Engineering) I can declare a minor in Biomedical Engineering. When/how do you declare a minor?

I believe for general engineering you declare your major after your first (U0) year.

[General Engineering - Undeclared (30 credits) | Programs, Courses and University Regulations - McGill University](<a href=“Engineering Undergraduate Programs | 2011–2012 Programs, Courses and University Regulations - McGill University”>http://www.mcgill.ca/study/2011-2012/faculties/engineering/undergraduate/programs/bachelor-engineering-beng-general-engineering-undeclare)

So you can’t have general engineering as a major. Are you considering another major or biomedical engineering as a major?

Yes I know that I have to declare a major after my first year, I was thinking Electrical or Computer Engineering. But I was jw, when can you declare a Minor?
