<p>I don’t see why you can’t do this. </p>
<p>All you really do when declaring a major is sign a piece of paper, which is given to the college. Assuming that the staff at L&S/your department don’t get a summer vacation (which is a pretty reasonable assumption), it should take at most 1-2 days for the college to process the declaration. It should show up in bearfacts/telebears 1 week later.</p>
<p>Or, someone could prove me wrong.</p>
