Thank you all! I have two kids applying this year. One grad school, one undergrad. It’s a bit overwhelming. 
@ucbalumnus: Yes, CS only requires a 2.0 GPA to apply as a Transfer, but it does not guarantee admission at that GPA level and based on several years of posted accepted stats, a minimum 3.0 GPA is required if applying as as an outside Transfer applicant.
If you are talking about switching majors as a current student, then the 2.0 GPA holds true once the applicant meets all the course and unit requirements.
