Declaring Major question

On my application to Fordham i did not fill in the box that said i was interested in the pre-medical area of study. This is kind of bad because now that i look at what i want to do, i actually would like to get involved in this program. I know that you do not actually claim your major until the end of sophomore year, but i dont know what to do.

Do you guys think that it is important that i didnt claim the fact that i was interested? Also do you guys think that it may affect my chances of admission?

(I know it is a silly question)

I don't think that it will make that much of a difference. A lot of people state a major when they apply but then change their mind shortly thereafter. I've seen it happen before and I don't think it matters that much and it certainly won't hurt your chances of admissions. Hope that helps!
