Declaring two majors at different times?

<p>I want to double major in Psych and Anthro. Here is my issue tho... I am taking my last prereq for psych over summer and will take my last Anthro prereq in the fall. So I can declare psych now and will be able to declare anthro in fall. I can essentially declare a double in the fall but I want to go ahead and declare psych now so that I can get bumped from the waitlist in upper divs. </p>

<p>So my question is, can I turn in the petition to declare for psychology now, and then, in the fall, turn in another one and have it re-signed by the psych dept and signed by the anthro dept? </p>

<p>Also, in order to declare a double major, do you have to have all of the L&S requirements completed, like R&C, Breadth, AC, etc, because I still have 2 breadths and R1B to do :(</p>

<p>I am almost absolutely sure that when you declare psych now, you don’t have to re-visit the psych department to “have permission” to declare a double major. You simply have to write another form to declare your anthro.
And yes, there’s no need to finish all the L&S requirements to declare a major since there are seniors I knew who took their breadth in their last semester at Cal.</p>
